Brad McLaughlin

Brad McLaughlin - BS, PTA, CWT

Brad received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California Riverside in 1996 and received his PTA license from Mount Saint Mary's College in Los Angeles in 1998. He then received his certification in weight training to become a personal trainer. He has also taken courses in aqua therapy and has his certification as an instructor. Brad continues to further his education in physical therapy and weight training with courses about core strengthening and body mechanics. He is an expert in body/bio mechanics and posture training and excels at incorporating various exercise programs to different environments including pool, land, gym, and work settings.

Since the age of 3 years old he has been what some would call accident prone. He broke 15 bones before the age of 16 and had numerous bouts with sickness, asthma, ear infections, pneumonia, and surgeries gone wrong. Being in and out of doctors offices his whole childhood gave him a better appreciation for his health, body and the medical professions (most of them anyway). He always knew that he wanted to be on the other side of that relationship helping patients to heal, learn a better respect and understanding of their body, and recover from their injuries and illnesses. His misfortunes as a child helped shape his career path as an adult. Now he is honored and privileged to be able to give back and use his experience and knowledge as a practitioner to help others because he can truly say ... "I know how you feel!" He really enjoys being active in the gym, pool, and ocean and loves to go hiking as well as snorkeling and rollerblading.

Dr. Jenny Wagenbach, PT, DPT

Jenny completed her undergraduate work in 2007 at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse majoring in Exercise and Sport Science with emphasis in Fitness and minoring in Spanish. She is a former collegiate athlete and played softball during her studies. She received her Masters and Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of New Mexico in 2011. Her passion is orthopedics and she has worked in orthopedic clinics in California and Virginia and now Maui.

Jenny prefers a hands-on approach while incorporating exercises to treat all joints of the body. She utilizes various manual skills including joint mobilizations, trigger point release, and muscle energy techniques. In Virginia, Jenny took level 1 and level 2 dry needling courses through Kinetacore. She performed functional dry needling on a variety of muscles to improve ROM, strength, and function. Jenny is unfortunately unable to utilize functional dry needling in the clinic since it is not approved in the Hawaii Physical Therapy Practice Act. Jenny hopes to take courses through North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) to continue developing her manual skills. Jenny enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and playing sports with her kids.
